This side is a list of the books I have read this year. It includes pictures of the book along with the date when I finished reading it. Some of the books will have a blog post to go along with it with my opinion of the book.

Read in July. Fictional account of a medical student studying psychiatry who meets a homeless man one day and begins to question the fabric of society on his journey.
The Secret of Santa Vittoria
Read in the Month of August. Book is an enjoyable story of a small town trying to protect its wine from German invaders in WWII.
If You Love Me: Serving Christ and the Church in Spirit and Truth
Read in the month of August. Book talks about how to apply christian service in the church.
Mary as the Early Christians Knew Her: The Mother of Jesus in Three Ancient Texts
Read in the Month of August. Books talks about some of the texts that inspired or reflect the views of the early Christians about Mary.
One Flesh: Salvation Through Marriage in the Orthodox Church
Read in the month of July. Speaks about marriage in the bible and what the Old Testament and New Testament teach along with what early Church Fathers had to say about the institution of marriage and its value.
On Divine Images by John of Damascus
Read in the month of July. The book is a short collection of writings from John of Damascus in defense of Christian drawings at the wake of iconoclasm in the early church.
Remember Thy First Love by Archimandrite Zachariass
Read in the month of July. The book talks about the different stages of faith Christians go though and how we can continue growing in faith on a daily basis.
On Marriage and Family Life by St. John Chrysostom
Read in the month of July. The book is a collection of homilies on marriage and raising family.
Crime & Punishment by Fryodor Dostoevsky
Read in the month of July, but it took me over a year to read since I kept putting it down and not picking up again for weeks and sometimes months. The book has really good moments but is by no means a page turner.
The Strange Death of Europe by Douglas Murray
Read in the month of July. This book develops the thesis that Europe has lost faith in itself and is surviving on fumes from better times that have passed. It talks about the rise of Islam and the changing culture and offers interesting statistics and events that have affected the continent as cultures clash.
